Working with CLL, I provide bespoke academic support to students from kindergarten up to college level, including students with special needs, and students attending or seeking admission to competitive specialized/private schools.Services include general academic support and problem solving, test preparation, and writing coaching.

Requested by former students’ parents, I provided in-home tutoring to those with particular educational needs. Tutoring focused on students at the ends of the spectrum; gifted students who require more inventive, challenging curriculum, as well as students who require remedial work to reinforce foundational language skills and strengthen confidence.- Quickly establishing a rapport and environment that emphasizes the comfort, support, and engagement of the student.- Using knowledge of students’ learning abilities and interests to tailor content and activities that are engaging, encouraging, and properly challenging.- Assessing the needs of the student to set attainable goals, monitoring progress and adjusting accordingly.

I worked with Dr. Franklin Brown, a practicing neuropsychologist and professor at Yale University and Hospital, on a research study regarding the neuropsychological correlates of visual memory and mathematical ability.- Collaborating on the design and proposal of a research study.- Administering neuropsychological measures/tests and collecting data from participants.- Analyzing and interpreting data and results.- Assisting in writing and publishing the research report describing the process and results of the study.

One of the highest rated public school systems in America, the EXCL Program is Farmington’s afterschool care program for students in Kindergarten through 4th Grade.
