• Subject matter expert for the Marine Corps Aviation Training & Readiness (T&R) Program, directly linking daily aviation flight operations with combat readiness reporting and congressional funding for Marine Aviation. • Led Marine Corps directors and squadron experts through resource modeling and training development in support of a $3 billion flying hour program for Marine Aviation, resulting in revision and implementation of over 50 T&R Manuals for 18 individual aircraft types.• Solicited, acquired, and managed three $20.4 million contracts to utilize a web-based flight training and readiness management system, directly supporting a flight hour program exceeding $1.4 billion for all Marine aviation units, resulting in increased readiness at unit and Marine Wing levels. • Developed, arranged, and instructed Aviation Operations Officers Courses, training over 500 squadron operations personnel on aircrew training planning and combat readiness reporting; resulted in increased accuracy in unit training, reporting, and budgetary resourcing across 4 Marine Air Wings. • Intimate knowledge of training policy and readiness resulted in being hand-picked to conduct inspections and ensure proper implementation of all Aircrew Training for Marine One, Presidential Helicopter Squadron (HMX-1).

• Flew over 1100 hours including over 300 combat, 225 night, and an additional 181 simulator hours; Incorporating over 10 months at sea during 3 deployments.• Deployed to Helmand Province, Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.- Flew over 200 successful combat missions, and led over 50 flights of multiple aircraft in close/deep air support, and aerial and surface escort, under hostile enemy fire and austere conditions, in direct support of Coalition forces.• Flight Line Officer in Charge (2010-2012)- Directly responsible for the welfare, training, and operations of a junior officer and over 125 enlisted Marines, and responsible for major flight component maintenance on 27 aircraft valued over $10 million each.- Re-organized and realigned functionality of multiple maintenance programs resulting in a Commander of Naval Air Forces Inspection description as “Model Programs” for all Marine Aircraft Wings. • Current Operations Officer (2010)- Planned and executed joint counter piracy operation to rescue M/V Magellan Star, a seized pirated vessel, resulting in rescue of 11 hostages and arrest and detainment of 9 pirates off the coast of Somalia. - Constructed integrated air planning for 6 types of aircraft to conduct shipboard flight operations on 3 Naval Ships.- Designed and prioritized an aggressive 6 month training plan with integrated artillery, rotary and fixed wing ordnance delivery, resulting in 6 pilot designations, 14 pilot qualifications, and over 450 successful H-1 sorties.• Logistics Officer (2009-2010)- Facilitated the execution of $11 million hangar renovation project with Public works and Airfield Operations.- Re-organized all squadron inventories and budgeted over $10,000 into new aviation support equipment.

• Completed two years of academic and flight training in aerodynamics, weather, navigation, aircraft familiarization, night vision device flight, and basic combat weapons delivery, resulting in the designation of Naval Aviator, fixed and rotary wing qualified and FAA Commercially Rated, and AH-1W Pilot. • Graduated top of Advanced Helicopter Training Class resulting in choice selection of AH-1W helicopter.
