SCA are an important industrial access and containment company contracted to BAE Systems for scaffold access and containment on current contracts on the Clyde. In this role I provide professional guidance and leadership on all Health, Safety and Environmental matters to the company and its business operations. The nature of industrial access and containment operations demand focus on safety compliance, particularly in working at height operations. The role has responsibility for developing and maintaining health and safety management systems which deliver policies, procedures and practices and enforce best practice proactive risk management. It also holds the responsibility for driving health & safety education and awareness programs throughout the company and giving pragmatic advice to management and employees on legislation affecting all departmental activities. I also manage the day-to-day operations of the HSE Department such as audit and inspection, accident/incident investigation and general SHE related enquiries.
