My name is Gavin Pease I am a father, a believer in Jesus Christ and a servant leader to my family, peers, fellow creatives and community. I have a deep passion for people and building. I am a self taught designer and creative director w/ 4+ years of experience in Adobe PS & Illustrator. I have provided over 50+ Logos for various local and state wide brands. 100+ hours of consultation. I have directed and facilitated over 100+ events and shows all over Ohio. I have collaborated with local and national brands from the likes of Buckeye Vodka, UNKNWN, Next, Trippie Redd, Belaire Luc. I have volunteered at Innes Middles School, Imagine Academy an others. I am the founder of The better together program. A community initiative started on the heels of the murder of George Flyod as a way to be a voice of reason. Our mission being “Unity through diversity, art, education and small acts of kindness”. Through that program I have donated money to the NEA, NAACPLDF, Not Just October. I have adopted two families for Christmas, providing the family with groceries, new clothes, shoes and toys for the children through Better Together program. To date I have given away $4000+ to helping where I can in this community. I believe I am an asset to a team that is looking to build robust programming for local communities through fresh and new ideas. My empathy for human beings, my attention to detail and understanding of the current world we live in will help push these ideas forward. Add in my skill set and work ethic to the nucleus and we will Thrive.

The better together program was founded on the heels of the murder of George Flyod. As a response to murder, injustice, division and racism. Our is goal and mission is “Unity through diversity, art, education and small acts of kindness. We don’t just dream of the ideal world, we pursue it. Under this movement i have volunteered at Innes Middles School teaching 7th graders about community and relationship. I have adopted 2 families for Christmas for providing them with clothes, shoes, groceries, and toys for children. We have had 10 + pop up events. A high of 7,000 dollars made in a month. We have done collaboration projects with major clothing companies and designer to raise money for community engagement. We have donated money to NAACPLDF , NEA, Not Just October and more. We continue to be actually involved in the community.

Supervisor/ Team lead - as a team lead and supervisor my job was to implement guides and processes for our team to effectively meet our daily quota for reconditioned units. I was given free reign to do what need led done to meet the need. Here I really learned how I could be an effective leader. I knew to have great employees you need to have growing people who trust you as a leader. So everyday started with morning meetings. Here we took 10-15 minutes to address how we’re feeling, what can we do better today as human beings and workers. I also asked them how I could be a better leader. This lead to build great rapport with the team which lead to trust. That trust allowed us to meet and surpass daily quotas at an efficient level.
