I worked as an assistant for the ISE Manufacturing Lab at NC State University, previously located in Daniels Hall. During my time there, I performed a number of tasks in order to keep the laboratory maintained and in optimal operation. My responsibilities included:• Routine maintenance and upkeep of subtractive manufacturing machines.• Assisted with invoicing and placing orders for necessary materials to complete research projects.• Organizing research materials, as well as assistance to graduate students and industry partners in order to complete projects.• Providing guidance to undergraduate students in summer programs on use of the machines, as well as tool path designs in AutoDesk Fusion 360.It became too much of a time commitment to keep up with during the following fall semester, but the organizational and technical skills I learned during my time at the lab are ones that I will always utilize.
