Gavin Semrow founded Ai Restoration in 1996 after moving to the greater Philadelphia area from Wisconsin. He studied architecture at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. Prior to moving to Pennsylvania, he had spent nearly a decade in the construction industry with Semrow Construction. Over the past 23 years, Gavin, through Ai Restoration, has continually worked to improve the technology behind home water, moisture, and air flow management issues with the exteriors of homes. While the building industry talks about stucco and siding failures, Gavin knows the actual problems are found on a home’s entire exterior core building envelope. What is behind the stucco and sidings is the real problem.Over time, Gavin has established himself an expert in water and moisture management of the exterior core of the building envelope. He is an active member of AWCI (Association of the Wall and Ceiling Industry) and the Building Science Corporation. He also consults and reports on core building envelope issues.Gavin continues to obtain the latest information and develop training techniques related to building exterior remediation. Ai uses this technology and expertise to solve complex problems in the industry.
