The CornerStone Recovery House provides a safe and sober living environment to individuals trying to better their lives. The CornerStone provides life skills classes (workforce development, resume writing, nutrition awareness and budgeting classes just to name a few) to help individuals reach certain goals. The CornerStone Recovery House was started in 2003 to help Veterans that were deployed and were coming back to the United States to acclimate back to being a civilian. Since then, we have expanded to the private sector and have been helping people with great success. We have been working closely with the new Veterans Court system, Nebraska Drug Court, Nebraska probation and many drug and alcohol treatment centers to provide a structured safe and sober living environment to their clients. It has been an honor and a blessing to watch people come into the CornerStone Recovery House and truly change their lives, pay it forward and help others.

The Cluster IT Manager is responsible for following project plans under the direction of the Area IT Manager to ensure the implementation and upgrades of major systems are completed on-time and within budget. Support the hotel cluster through the use of business solutions using technology including installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user training and assistance as required.Other key priorities are listed below:•Research and identify business opportunities for technology and report findings and conclusions to upper management•Complete IT related projects for cluster properties as directed•Work within the constraints of each property IT budget as prepared by the Area IT Manager•Direct, setup, maintain, and monitor property servers; including backups, property LAN performance, telecom systems and user workstations•Direct the on property 1st line support calls to HSC and ensure all support calls are logged in HSC's ticketing system•Act on support calls passed by HSC for systems/applications not supported by HSC or that require onsite activity by Custer IT•Oversee proper controls to ensure hotels comply with SOX, PCI and PABP security requirements.•Assess actual performance against standards to determine whether the cluster (i.e. department, team, and project) is on target to reach goals and take corrective action as necessary. •Enforce policies and procedures that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the department, property and Company.•Implement and manage departmental processes and procedures to ensure strategies and directives of department are carried out in accordance with department and company objectives.•Inform senior management of department’s progress and advise on key issues to facilitate the decision making process.

Responsible for directing and overseeing the functionality and safety of the facility to protect the well-being of all guests and team members in the hotel, continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. I served as a Combat Electronics Division( Data Systems Technician) Supervisor , 50 CAL Gunnery Stations Team Leader, and VBSS Team Leader (Visit-Board-Search and Seizure). Served in Operation Desert Storm, Operation Restore Hope and many other military endeavors. The eight years that I spent in the United States Navy was the most challenging experience I have endured so far. If I were to do it again, I wouldn’t change a thing.
