I worked within the Laser refurbishment, Nitrogen generation build and Service industry. My main tasks are installation, breakdown, commissioning, servicing and tech support. The types of product I work with are CO2 Lasers and Nitrogen Generation Systems. When working with these machines I can come up against many challenges from skating into tight spaces, installation, commissioning, technical breakdowns, mechanical and electrical issues all of which need resolving to get the job done. When working with these machines I can come up against many challenges from skating into tight spaces, installation, commissioning, technical breakdowns, mechanical and electrical issues all of which need resolving to get the job done. I enjoy the different challenges I face on a daily basis. I am fully trained on the service and installation of Nitrogen generation boosters and generators. I have worked with many different types of Lasers and Nitrogen Generation systems including LVD, Trumpf, Bystronic, JP Sauer, Parker, Atlas and Amada. Show less

I worked at a transport company as a HGV Class 1 lorry driver. I moved all types of machinery from power presses to press brakes. Within this job I learnt many different skills of which I still use in my current role especially moving machinery safely and efficiently. I also gained my fork lift truck license in this role of which I still use today. I really enjoyed this role but wanted to move to new and exciting challenges.

This was my first job where I was an apprentice as a HGV mechanic also studying NVQ Level 2 at college. This is where I picked up my core mechanical skills stripping, fault finding and rebuilding engines. I completed my 2 year course and then I was offered a job at Deeping Direct Deliveries as a mechanical service Engineer, servicing their HGV’s.
