Gavin is a geologist with 44 years continuous experience in the mining industry and 41 years as a consultant geologist. He has worked extensively throughout Australia and on assorted projects in Southeast, Southern and Central Asia and Africa.Gavin’s specialties include; data collation, appraisal, re-interpretation and management, computer modelling, resource assessment, resource reporting and database/model auditing. Gavin has over 30 years’ experience using Vulcan geological software for model generation and evaluation. Gavin was an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Adelaide from 2015-2020 where he delivered the geological modelling and JORC Code components of the Economic and Mine Geology course and the National Exploration Undercover School (NExUS). He has also presented occasional lectures at the University of South Australia and Monash University.In 2019 Gavin established Australia Off Track (AOT) to produce quality locally made artworks, inspired by the landscapes, plants and animals of the Australian continent. The current AOT range focuses on stretched canvas prints for business and home settings
