A specialist diesel mechanic by trade with extensive hands-on and supervisory experience in hi-tech aviation, fire fighting, emergency response and Antarctic operations, I have a strong commitment to ongoing learning and new experiences. I have regularly added new licences and skills to my repertoire, for example Restricted Electrical, Welding, and currently enrolling for my Refrigeration licence. I also have diverse experience managing my own businesses and employment in a range of trades including hospital and aged care maintenance, and specialist electricity network disconnects and reconnects. My family and I also run a small equestrian centre in the Adelaide Hills. Having recently returned from 12 months in Antarctica managing the mechanical workshop at Casey Station, Australia's largest Antarctic base, I am currently seeking my next challenge with an Adelaide-based company.
