My career is characterized by a deep rooted sense of love and a commitment to creating inspiring, inclusive and positive learning environments. As an ABA Trained Educational Behavioral Interventionist, I've developed strategies to make a lasting impact on students' lives, fostering not only academic growth but also social and emotional well-being.Beyond traditional teaching roles, my involvement as a Teacher Teaching On Call at Highroad Academy in Chilliwack BC, has allowed me to embrace the dynamic nature of education, responding to the evolving needs of students and schools. Volunteering as an Educational Assistant, I contribute to a diverse and supportive educational landscape, reflecting adaptability, empathy, and a keen understanding of individual student needs. I strongly believe each student brings a unique perspective and skillset into the classroom, and that it is not the teacher’s job to tell them what they should know, but help them capitalize on their abilities.My coaching and volunteer roles extend beyond academics, promoting teamwork, discipline, and a passion for success. Not only do I want to make a difference in the slow grinding wheel of education, but I want to help put students on a fast track to success, in whatever success is for each student. I want to inspire passion for learning, and for life. I hope that one day, I can be the type of teacher that helps students grow inside the classroom in a way that helps them exceed outside the classroom.
