Howdy! I am a political science major who takes pride in solving complex problems through creative solutions. I have strong technical skills and have experience working with a variety of computer programs/languages including AutoCAD, Robot C, Python, and RStudio. As an undergraduate, I am currently increasing my experience in R and Excel. I have an academic background and experience in robotics through high school and some of college, and as a political science major I have had the opportunity to really develop my writing skills and to use RStudio to construct research oriented reports.While in high school, I competed in a state wide robotics competition called BEST Robotics, and won 3 Texas UIL State Championships alongside my team. Through this competition that structured teams like companies, I became more familiar with robotics as an industry, and gained an even greater respect for the combined team effort that goes into solving problems. I also learned what it takes to be a leader in a company, rising to the title of manager and even CEO by my senior year.Professionally, I have over 2 years of experience in retail, first working for a local meat market and doing any and everything required of me and then working in the curbside department at H-E-B as a personal shopper.
