I have learnt a lot about sales whilst working and gaining experience starting from an apprentice until I was working as a senior recruitment consultant. My duties on a daily basis included liaising with both clients in the NHS sector and clients within the private sector of healthcare, as well as candidates. My duties on a daily basis included liaising with both clients in the NHS sector and clients within the private sector of healthcare, as well as candidates. I dealt with various clients such as Hospitals, Prisons, Immigration Removal Centres, Rehabilitation units, Community Clinics and the Ministry of Defence (MoD), speaking to them on the phone and dealing with any nursing related requirements they may have, including compliance documents and payroll queries. Upon gaining the requirement from the client, I will then actively look for the perfect candidate in line with the details and specification the client has given me. My job role was mostly phone orientated meaning that my phone manner had to be of a high standard. I feel this role also requires very good customer service skills and organisational skills. Negotiating pay rates and closing deals is my strong point, completing a great amount of ongoing placements as well as booking Adhoc shifts for locum nurses, billing the organisation Hundreds of thousands of pounds since I joined.
