Worked with private landowners in the Snoqualmie River Valley to help restore riparian habitats that have been degraded from agricultural use. Planted native vegetation and removed invasive species using various methods. Generated habitat buffer planting plans and monitored planting sites for vegetative health. Helped to coordinate community volunteer events and engaged the public in environmental education.

Assess campsite impact through ecological assessments (e.g. percent vegetative cover), and general campsite condition. Navigate with GPS and map to different campsites, mostly off trail travel and bushwhacking. Public outreach was a large part of the position as well.
