About Gavin Weller

I aim to “make a difference” to my clients – to be much more than a reactionary advisor. I pride myself on my knowledge, availability, personal service, initiative, lack of jargon and holistic approach.I have over 30 years experience in the profession helping clients with their taxation, accounting and business advisory needs. I started out at Ernst & Young "learning the ropes" in Tax and Business Advisory Services before moving into their Business Development Section as a consultant. Since then I have had extensive experience as a Business Advisory Services Manager in Brisbane firms culminating in me becoming a Partner/Director at Overells in 2010. In January 2020 Overells rebranded as now being part of Trekk Advisory. Trekk Advisory represents a group of independently owned firms with like minded individuals that continue to support our SME and high net wealth clients through education, advice and partnering in the areas of taxation and business advisory.
