Captain, United States Marine Corps – Infantry, Intelligence, Special Operations (2000-2007) - Held various positions in USMC and national intelligence community including NSA Operations Office, Scout Sniper Platoon Commander, Executive Officer, and Regimental Intelligence Officer.• Provided strategic direction and guidance to senior US government officials including the Commanding General of US and NATO forces in Afghanistan, senior CIA officials in Afghanistan and Pakistan, the Commanding General of Joint Special Operations Command, and senior members of the Pentagon including the Undersecretaries of Defense for Intelligence and Special Operations.• Spearheaded the NSA planning effort against Al Qaida senior leadership, overseeing an interagency group composed of representatives from over 30 organizations and departments.• Conducted multiple combat deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq in support of Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) and the CIA conducting Special Reconnaissance for national level intelligence priorities. • Authored Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the platoon and battalion including sections on logistics, communications, administration, training, and supply.• Conducted combat deployment to Afghanistan serving as Scout / Sniper platoon commander, liaison to senior members of the Karzai administration, and as commander of 200 man Afghan paramilitary force. • Managed 300+ personnel and over 13 separate sections within the company, balancing a rigorous training and operations schedule.
