I have a strong background in C++, having used it for over 10 years on various projects such as a PC based games based learning platform and windows development work plus both (Pocket PC and Smart Phone), with my most recent work being on Windows Mobile and Windows CE.Historically I also have experience of Java, J2EE and Visual Basic. I used all these languages as part of many projects based around a large work flow package designed by HP.I have also had exposure to J2ME while team leading and developing a suite of test mid-lets for one of the large handset vendors.Ideally I would like a role that gave me an oportunity to participate in all of the software life cycle.Specialties: Windows Mobile, Windows CE.   Over my years in this position I have had experience of all stages of the Software Life Cycle. I led small teams and had long on site assignments both in the UK and once abroad. My last on site assignment was for a large software company based in Redmond (Seattle) where I worked for three months, helping to fix defects on the latest release of there mobile phone platforms.Due to my extensive project experience I have had exposure to many tools, technologies and implementation languages and I tend to pick these up pretty fast.I have had experience of team leading, design, implementation, testing, estimation and customer facing.
