Joined HSBC in 2011 as an Associate within the newly created Prime Services group working to develop the margin and collateral function then promoted to Associate Director in 2013. The Prime margin function merged with the wider Collateral Services Operations group in 2014, where I lead Collateral teams in Equity Prime, FX Prime and Strategic Equity Finance. As part of the Global Collateral Operations senior management team in 2017 I became the strategic global Client Service lead for various initiatives focused on providing greater level of service to clients. Initiatives included enablement of earlier issuance of margin calls and improved response times.As current London Head of Prime Margin and Collateral, I lead a global diverse team based across London, KL and Manila who are responsible for the direct interaction with clients in regard to issuance, receipt and settlement of all margin related activity for PB and OTC derivatives. I also provide global oversight and best practise guidance to the Prime Margin functions in Hong Kong and New York, while working closely with the London head of OTC Collateral to ensure effective risk management of the wider London Collateral team
