By 2009 turnover across a range of media and electronic products was c. £400M. and it topped customer satisfaction charts ahead of the likes of Amazon and iTunes.

Reporting to joint Managing Directors, design and implementation of Financial Operations controls and processes for Venture Capital backed retail entertainment start-up. Design and implementation of Store and Head Office systems (Finance System, EPOS, EDI and Store Replenishment systems). Built detailed financial plan for store investment and performance monitoring. Designed and built reporting packs for Founders and Investors. Recruited and managed Finance and Systems teams.

A Venture Capital backed pan European Data Centre (Scale-up) business. Reporting to Finance Director, responsibility for all accounting (Financial & Management & FP&A) across all group companies and production of year end financial statements and tax returns. Building Investment / Operating model for Investment presentations to new investors. 155M€ raised from investors over 4 rounds.

Managed team of c.28 processing high volume A/P transcation flow and P&L / Balance Sheet Product / Margin elements. Managed supplier Supply Chain Terms and Conditions; retrospective discounts, supplier negotiation and settlement of supply chain discrepancies. Managed store / supplier best practice on Recieving/Transfers/ Returns. Reduced headcount despite store portfolio YoY growth through EDI and RPA automation.

Senior Commercial negotiator - supporting divestment and acquisition of upstream assets ; negotiating and defending commercial oil and gas contarcts with JV partners.Head of FDM (Financial Data management) - newly created Controls and Processes team utilising SAP controls to verify and authorise significant and exceptional financial transactions.Accountant - management of FP&A for Distribution (Pipelines, Depots & Tanker fleet); Negotiation of JV Depot share sale.
