In addition to the roles and responsibilities of my previous position, as a Senior Motion Designer I took on an expanded roll in the production pipeline. This included:• A greater level of responsibility in the planning, design, and production of large scale fully animated and VFX projects• On-set VFX supervision for 3D scene reconstruction and motion design integration• Leading role on multi-designer projects, assigning sets of tasks to designers in order to most efficiently meet project deadlines• On-site and remote colorist supervision and supportI also carried out leadership and management responsibilities for the Motion Design team within Garmin's internal production department.• Heavily involved in building an expanding the Motion Graphics team through candidate selection and interviewing for new and open positions• Created a career development path centered around targeted education and industry events to expand the abilities of each designer• Responsible for all hardware and software needs of the team, working diligently to provide tools that would enable world class production work while also being responsibly strategic for the company• Led efforts on increasing efficiency in repetitive work produced by the team resulting in a drastic reduction of hard costs• Handled scheduling of all incoming work for each of the five full time Motion Designers• Coordinated and strategized projects with outside vendors

• Created animations supporting product launches in-store and online• Worked on multiple national broadcast television spots• Supported social media campaigns both in animations used in targeted advertising on Facebook and Instagram, as well as large scale social outreach including runs of multiple fully animated spots on the NASDAQ tower in Times Square • Developed animation to promote customer training for new products• Extensive experience integrating motion design work with practical footage• Coordination with outside vendors• Daily interaction and integration with a full production team of Directors, Producers, Editors, and an Audio Engineer
