Built a cloud-based SaaS sales and service enablement platform for insurers with a successful exit to SaaS insurtech Socotra. Developed platform from the ground up to provide insurers with a mobile-friendly approach to insurance policy quoting, sales, administration and distribution management with API integrations as needed. Grew team to 20 employees focused on sales, marketing, software development and customer support. Licensed software platform to insurers, agents and general agencies. Developed and maintained marketing collateral, sales plans, prospect lists, forecasts, budgets, managed payroll and managed software licensing agreements. Selected to be a member company of the South Carolina Research Authority. Featured as a startup-of-interest through organizations like Queen City FinTech, the National Alliance of Life Companies, Global Insurance Alliance and National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies and recognized by trade publications as an insurtech-to-watch.
