Initially focussing on permanent recruitment, I transitioned to contract management, although I was comfortable in either capacity.Duties included:• Recruiting and placing candidates in a multitude of roles across the IT industry, from Service Desk Analysts to Project and Program Managers• Maintaining existing client relationships through excellent customer service• Prospecting new clients and promoting the services of the business through telephone canvassing and face to face meetings• Account managing Vodafone NZ across IT and Telco contracts• Negotiation of PSAsI was consistently amongst the top 10% of billers within Hays and when I left was 2nd highest biller in New Zealand

Responsible for the safe, orderly and expeditious flow of air traffic through my radar control sector, my duties included• Issuing instructions to pilots to route them effectively through the UK's busiest airspace• Working under extreme pressure to meet the demands of a safety led business• Taking executive responsibility for a team of controllers and assistants whilst in the planning controller role• Leading by example in a "blame-free" safety culture where split second decisions are required on a regular basis
