Co-teaching "International Food Regulations", a web-based graduate-level regulatory science course that provides students with an in-depth understanding of the various regulations controlling the movement of food internationally. The course focuses on the basics of international trade (Ex/Im) operations and trade compliance, international transportation and logistics, Free Trade Agreements, and US OGA and foreign regulatory compliance.

I also provide subject matter expertise on an array of global sourcing and international product launch projects, and manage ConAgra's various customs broker and service provider relationships.Position Highlights:• Successfully grew the ConAgra Trade Compliance function from a single-person role to a team of four, including two US-based trade compliance specialists and a Canadian trade compliance supervisor.• Played an integral role in developing and launching an Inter-Asia manufacturing and distribution supply chain that served to lower costs and bring stability and predictability to a customer relationship representing over $60 million in annual sales. • Developed and collaborated with various teams to implement processes designed to address numerous export control issues, including ECCN classifications and license determinations for IT-related exports; purchase order and purchase agreement review for antiboycott language; ad hoc DPL screening for customer inquiries; and foreign national screening for H1-B visa applications.• Spearheaded a project to migrate from a manual to an automated Denied Parties List (DPL) screening process. Successful integration of the process with the existing credit review process resulted in the daily automated screening of ~100% of all counterparties and service providers across all business units.
