Ecco Software is a software engineering company whose services include systems analysis, design, development, implementation and integration of complete systems.I was contracted to deliver a web application to compliment their mDrive Car Rental system for the Department of Treasury and Finance motor pool. They had an existing Web service and application that was written in ASP.NET 1.1. I needed to port\upgrade it to .NET 2.0 and add functionality, then install and configure the Server and application at the DTF site. I added a connection to the DTF Intranet that uses AES encryption with a fixed key stored in both applications (Intranet web site and mDrive Web) as per DTF’s requirements. The solution is eventually to be used across all government motor pools.
