Oversee and manage the Airport Improvement Program (AIP) and Airport Capital Improvement Plan (ACIP) for the FAA Office of Airports. Develop policy and procedures for AIP. Provide accurate and timely communication of guidance to internal and external customers. Monitor regional performance to guarantee that the Office of Airports goals are met and legal requirements are carried out. Analyze AIP, ACIP and other data and recommend changes to policy which benefit the National Airport System. Implement funding plan as established in the ACIP process to ensure that no less than 93% of runways at airport in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems (NPIAS) are maintained in excellent, good, or fair condition. Provide guidance to the Regional and Airport District Offices regarding AIP policies and procedures. Oversee the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for all FAA Regional and Airport District Offices.

Grant Management of the Airport Improvement Program for select airports. Programming of all grants for the Orlando Airports District Office (ADO) and management of the financial system. Evaluation of all private airport facilities in the district (Florida, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands) including airspace evaluation, safety evaluation and data collection. Evaluation of all off airport property obstructions for airspace, safety, and compatible/incompatible land use. Safety and compliance oversight for select airports. Managed the upload of the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) from the State level to the Federal level. Managed the FAA CIP for the Orlando ADO. Completed a user guide/training guide for the financial system for use by multiple ADOs. Created a program for evaluating obstructions against Airport Design (AC 150/5300-13) surfaces. Created basic templates for use during the programming of grants.

Conducted an Environmental Assessment for the relocation and reconstruction of a vital Indian Reservation Airport in Arizona through coordination between the FAA Los Angeles ADO Environmentalist, State and sponsor. Completed an Airport Master Plan Update as well as Airport Layout Plan update. Created Terminal Area Designs using AutoCAD, Microstation and Pathplanner, some of which were immediately sent to design and will be constructed soon. Completed a Capital Improvement Program (CIP) for multiple airports in Arizona. Completed inventories and walkthroughs. Worked in a team of three planners with drafting and engineering support. Reviewed documents and drawings from colleagues and completed Forms 7460-1 and 7480-1 for projects in multiple FAA regions. Completed Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) and Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans.

Planning and design for current and future construction projects at Washington Dulles International Airport and Washington Reagan National Airport in conglomeration with the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority.
