I come from a long line of volunteer fire fighters, and from a very young age, could always be found at the Bedfordale Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade which was founded by my Grandfather Brian O’Neill and where my father Michael Fancote was Captain.My official volunteering journey began in 1998 and since then I have held numerous positions within the Bedfordale VBFB and City of Armadale serving most prominently as Fire Control Officer and Deputy Fire Chief.
