Achievements:• Led the team that in 6 months improved the Dropped Call Rate (DCR) from >3% to <1% in AT&T’s small cell network, an improvement that ultimately resulted in AT&T deploying over 2 million devices, the worlds largest residential small cell deployment.• Managed the migration of ip.access Access Gateway and Network Orchestration System from ATCA chassis to Virtual Machines reducing the cost to deploy an ip.access small cell network from > £150,000 to < £20,000 (for a minimal system).• Project managed new teams brought in with the opening of ip.access’ Indian development centre in Pune.• Managed the Access Point projects to increase number of concurrent small cell users from 8 to 16 and from 16 to 24 – including the design, manufacture and test of up-scaled automated test systems. These products were based on Intel’s PC333 SoC.• Managed the Access Point projects to introduce HSPA+, increasing downlink data rates from 14.4 to 21 Mbps.• Project managed the development project to port ip.access’ 3G small cell firmware to Qualcomm FSM9208 SoC – this project included transfer of designs and manufacturing test systems to WNC (Taiwan) for low cost manufacture.• Identified the need for, invented, developed, deployed and maintained systems to provide automated data collection, analysis and reporting for development projects, sales reporting, customer response time reporting (SLA). These systems are initiated by the windows task scheduler on a Windows Virtual Machine, gather datasets from company databases (Redmine, CRM, TestLink) sort and filter the data (perfomed in MS Excel, using VBA) and publish and email Powerpoint reports on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, as required.• Managed Benetel (3rd party supplier) to the delivery of hardware for the E40 Access Point, ip.access’ first LTE product.• Managed Bitwise (3rd Party supplier) to the delivery of the first version of the “Manufacturing Test Station” for ip.access’ 3G small cell access points
