About Gavin Halling

I work with executive and support managers to help them ensure risk management adds value to their organisation. This includes enabling them to derive the information they require from a risk management system that enables better informed and more timely decisions. The challenge for many businesses is having a risk system that adds measurable value while supporting good governance:# So all those in an organisation use the same processes, toolsets and reports (including projects from Concept to Finalisation).# Enable Managers at various levels (eg programme through to the executive) to access the information they want whenever they need it.# Enable project management functions particularly scope, costs and quality to be better integrated with risk. All this using an uncomplicated process that the manager of any initiative or project can easily undertake for themselves without the need for expensive external consultancy. After working in and with project teams for over 40 years my experience (including a few bumps in the road!) has enabled me to hone a system where anyone, regardless of their starting point, can have an uncomplicated, efficient, effective, integrated and measurable risk management system.Imagine the benefits of having a common approach to risk and uncertain cost management across your organisation. These include time savings; a consistent process (enhancing both quality and communications); better scope development (including shared ownership) and more accurate cost forecasting (budgets through to project end cost management). All of which help to provide up to date real time information, so decisions are better informed and timely. This really helps to improve stakeholder confidence.I thoroughly enjoy helping Clients get the most from their risk management and am passionate about leveraging the benefits of this key management function. To learn more about how risk management can help you improve your business and project outcomes connect on Linkedin or visit the Home page on our website (www.risktools.com.au).
