Provision of Project and Process Management services to industry - For the past thirteen years, I have been a contract project manager and director of my own project management consultancy here in New Zealand. In New Zealand, I have worked in both the public and private sector with clients in Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland. As you will read below, I have experience in the financial and insurance industry, the health and disability sector, the core public service, as well as the electricity and innovation sectors.

During this time I successfully managed:EasyVote, the provision of critical voting information sent to enrolled voters. The project included the design, production and delivery of postal media. This time critical project, involving many stakeholders and suppliers, and was successfully delivered to the majority of enrolled voters prior to the start of Advanced Voting.Postal Voting Packs, the Covid-19 pandemic meant a new postal voting service was required. I was responsible for the creation of new postal voting packs and processes to ensure they could be returned via the post, or dropped of at a voting place, so they could be successfully counted at the 72 electorate headquarters. This project met the high standards required for postal voting and legislative requirements. eRoll, a mobile phone application providing access to elector information at voting places.

Project Managing the Kaikoura event close out. I was responsible for working with the eight insurers who acted as the Crown’s agents in the Kaikoura event. My role started out ensuring that all information, including the private and confidential information of claimants, was moved back to EQC. In the course of this work, my role also expanded to include being the liaison between the various insurers and EQC, working on transitions all claim management from the private to the public sector. This work involved working as a bridge between vendors, business users and the IT department to ensure any new and improved systems would meet ongoing business needs.Project Managing the transfer of information, on the Canterbury Home Repair Program, from Fletcher Building to the Crown, including technical advice on the migration of data. This included development of a data solution using Qlik Sense and a document solution using OnBase. Following this the movement of data, documents and associated IT systems for management of the home repairs back to EQC.
