My passionate dedication to cooking and working a kitchen began later in life. After completing an undergraduate degree in Communications and pursuing a graduate degree, I joined the rat-race and began working as a young professional. Unsatisfied, and ready to follow his true passion, I decided to pursue a career in the culinary arts and landed a job at Raphael Restaurant. Working his way up from prep stage to Sous Chef and finally Executive Chef, through each kitchen position, I honed my culinary techniques and developed a sophisticated sense of flavor under Chef Steven Barkulis and later Chef Adam Horton. Inspired by Barkulis’ commitment to quality ingredients and creative flavors as well as Horton’s refined technique and playful interplay of textures and flavors, I have worked to create my own perspective on dining, and continue to refine that perspective while at Inn of the Seventh Ray.In my limited free time, I continue to run Innovative Event Solutions, an Auction Consulting Company focused on non-profit organizations. Inspired by the growing need to support non-profit organizations in their fundraising efforts and the need to provide an effective, collaborative, and enjoyable event, I am committed to excellence in fundraising consulting. Because I have worked with similar services and with our competitors, I am committed to excellence in achieving a wide range of fundraising goals. With an extensive database, my expertise, and obligation to your organization, I am dedicated to executing successful silent and live auctions for a variety of fundraisers.
