Including preventing critical knowledge leaving the organisation, increasing the re-use of knowledge, learning lessons and addressing duplication of effort.Achievements:• Reduced the loss of knowledge with “An Audience with…” and “Guided Reflection”.• Improved lessons learning by facilitating the Post Implementation Review process with a Lessons Identified system.• Stimulated cross-departmental discussions with regular Knowledge Cafés.• Broke down knowledge silos by migrating 26 SharePoint sites and shared drives to one Knowledge Portal.• Enabled senior management to see what was going on across the business in one view by consolidating Workstacks.• Enabled anyone able to compile a ‘What we know about…’ document with ease, by creating a portal for managers to submit their critical information.• Prevent multiple contacts with the same vendors, by creating a CRM list.• Improved the overall knowledge and skills of the organisation by project managing the ‘Upskilling’ programme.• Influenced the staff engagement strategy for the Sales & Marketing Group.
