I am a Chartered Engineer with the Dutch Royal Institute of Engineers and a cum laude Executive MBA graduate of the Rotterdam School of Management. I am an employee of Mammoet Global in Utrecht, the Netherlands and am currently responsible for leading the global crane division; a fleet of the largest land-based cranes in the world with lifting capacities of up to 5000 tons. With more than 10 years’ experience in heavy lifting and transport, I bring a wealth of knowledge to the various markets served by this niche and specialized industry. In my GM role, I am responsible for our flagship assets and am P&L responsible for the division. Our team works in close collaboration with our regional based colleagues on all commercial, operational and financial matters relating to our global cranes and personnel. A typical day for me starts with video calls to Singapore in the morning, and moves from east to west through Dubai, Rotterdam, Houston and Rio before ending up with Edmonton. I love to work through and across boarders and cultures and building long lasting relationships both inside and outside our company. In executing my responsibilities, my vision is to build a high trust, high performance and networked group, with a common purpose and shared goals, which in a matrix organization is not always so easy. Our mission is to deliver construction and production efficiencies to our customers – be that through shorter schedules or greater output – and we do this by removing design bottlenecks through the provision of unmatched lifting capacity. My core values are: Integrity and honesty  Hard work and best efforts Vulnerability and humility Curiosity and listening Solving problems Learning and growing Team goals and collective achievement Results and winning Relationships and helping others  Enjoying what you do and having fun Working with brilliant people
