I’m inspired by the creation of high-performing, purpose-led teams of people who are driven to deliver great products. My degrees in engineering and passion for business led to an international career spanning product development, product management, sales and marketing, capital raising and executive leadership in startups and large enterprises in the technology, healthcare, payments, geospatial and telecommunications industries.I spent my youth in New Zealand then went on an extended journey, living and working in the United States, UK, Ireland, Canada, and Australia, holding senior positions in companies such as IBM, DoubleClick and MapInfo. I returned to my New Zealand roots in 2004. I led a number of scaleup companies including Invenco, a global leader in self-service payment systems. In my time as CEO, the team quadrupled revenues, delivered consistent profitability, positive cash flow and built the foundation for a world-class company. It achieved over $100 million annual turnover and received numerous accolades, including being named as the 2018 New Zealand Hi Tech Company of the Year.I joined M2X in 2022, a fast-growth scale-up committed to improving the efficiency and sustainability of primary industry supply chains. Our goal is to save our customers a billion trucking miles by enabling collaboration and optimal logistics. M2X was named the best Agritech company at the 2022 Hi-Tech Awards.I’m also the chair and a non-executive director of Manta5, the world’s first hydrofoil e-bike company that offers the intuitive experience of cycling on the water. Manta5’s profile exploded internationally when the then concept ‘Proto6’ won Gold in the Concept Category at the local New Zealand Design Awards.
