IT Executive currently responsible for Enterprise Information Management team. The role is primarily focused on the business intelligence systems for the Group. Other responsibilities include the financial systems and human capital systems.Previous responsibilities in this role have included the digital team (web sites and mobile sites), the financial services team supporting mrp money, and the new business development team. I have also been involved as lead IT representative of the Mr Price Group transformation programmes which included replacing all core retail systems (planning and inventory management), as well as the new enterprise data warehouse.

Manage a team of 10 corporate and IT auditors for Mr Price Group.

Managed a 2 person team performing the IT Audit function at Mr Price Group, establishing the function within the Group and growing it to include all aspects of risk and governance around IT. I also established a continuous monitoring process that provides just in time alerts to various areas of the business when anomalies are detected and a process to ensure there is appropriate corrective action.

Managed the Durban team of Information Systems Assurance and Advisory Service (ISAAS) professionals for global auditing and consulting firm Ernst & Young.
