I am founder of TPM Science (www.tpmscience.eu, formerly ThePaperMill), a Barcelona-based company that provides training, scientific writing, editing and grant consultancy services for researchers. We are a team of scientists with many years of experience as scientific researchers, science communicators, and trainers. Our scientist’s perspective forms the backbone of our work, so we focus, not just on theory, but on the tough experience of daily life as a researcher.

Statistical and population genetics of common complex diseases, mainly focused on cardiovascular disease and their risk factors. I have been involved in studies that have discovered hundreds of genetic variants associated with these traits, as well as studies that have investigated the potential use of this genetic information to evaluate risk of future cardiovascular events.
