Dot Scot Registry is the not-for-profit venture which established and operates the new top-level internet domain of '​.scot'​ for the worldwide family of Scots.We successfully secured and launched the .scot internet domain following our bid to the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN). .scot domains are now available to the worldwide family of Scots to identify themselves, their goods, services and cultural offerings on-line. “The Scottish Government’s on-line identity is clearly defined by the .scot domain and marks us out in a crowded Internet.
