About Gavin Dubois

Gavin is a videographer, photographer, and editor with Istrico Productions. As the team's lead "Chicago correspondent," Gavin sometimes wears many hats to tackle a project solo, and other times wears just one when an exciting project brings him back east to collaborate with his colleagues on-site. His work takes him around the United States, sometimes overseas, and he loves to rack up airline miles on adventures with interesting scenery. In the professional and personal, Gavin is all about the process of bringing images to life; his love for naturalism means he'll always get a great shot, whether that's capturing B-roll in historic downtown Chicago, or bringing compelling interviews to life in a conference breakout room. His personal projects are an opportunity to throw the rules out the window and use abstract forms to influence a narrative. His work has screened at experimental and underground film festivals across the country.
