Course Leader, Senior Lecturer and Cancer Cell Biology Sub-Group Lead at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, within the field of bio-medicine and molecular oncology.Translational training was completed at Imperial College London, being awarded a MRes in Oncology and Cancer Biology and a joint multidisciplinary Doctorate in Clinical Medicine (Molecular Oncology) and Biomedical Engineering. Further postgraduate training included a pathology PDRA at the Barts Cancer Institute, London, under the supervision of Sir Prof Nicholas Wright, Dr Stuart McDonald, and Prof Marnix Jansen at University College London. Experience also includes NHS (Dept. of Vascular Surgery/ Oncology), Medical Devices Industry, and the Wellcome Sanger Institute (Spatial Transcriptomics - Oncology). Fellow of The Royal Society of Medicine as well as the HEA. Also an active Non-Executive Director (Trustee) at Alex TLC, a UK-based charitable organisation offering support and information for all those affected by a genetic leukodystrophy.
