Current-Providing excellent patient-centered and evidence based care as per national policies and local guidelines. - Collaborative working with members of multidisciplinary team including medical staff, AHPs, nurses and discharge facilitators to ensure patients receive excellent care and their goals are achieved in a timely manner. -Facilitator and attendee of departmental CPD and supervision programme. -Ensuring clinical practice follows local, national and professional governance policies and health, safety and security of staff and patients is maintained. -Record keeping in accordance with professional regulations including EMR, database, statistics and paper based notes. -I have been involved in local and healthboard-wide quality improvement and training projects including: -Lead the assessment, development and implementation of an educational tool to reduce inappropriate referrals within a ward-based setting. -Took part in the consultation stage for the development of digital technology to be used within the orthopaedic in-patient setting. Additionally, I was the demonstrator for exercises which have been rolled out for use with our post-operative elective orthopaedic patients. This ensures patients are able to follow the gold-standard rehabilitation plan, increase self-efficacy and improve the patient experience.-I delivered an interactive training session for newly-recruited care-staff to educate regarding common physiotherapy postural aids, mobility aids and how to identify/escalate patients which will require physiotherapy intervention. Rotations completed include in orthopaedics (elective and trauma), medical/A&E, critical care/surgical/vascular, community, stroke and musculoskeletal.
