I'm passionate about helping businesses grow, with a focus on: addressing unmet customer needs, optimizing operations, & enhancing workplace culture. After a decade in the management consulting industry, I worked in Silicon Valley for nearly another decade. There I helped grow two small (<75 people) incubation business units in the cloud computing space from no revenue into large businesses that drove billions of dollars for HP. I then drove a variety of growth initiatives at Dell Technology's VMware subsidiary (since acquired by Broadcom), where I oversaw software products directly attributable to over $1 billion of revenue & drove initiatives to maintain VMware's relevance in the push towards off-premise cloud computing & modern software architectures.I've led & grown teams with as many as 16 direct reports at a given time, & my rigorous yet thoughtful approach to recruiting has resulting in a perfect 100% acceptance rate on offers made. My focus on creating a positive team culture & driving continual development of team members has resulted in an annual retention rate in excess of 90% -- while driving financial success as well.I'm now back at Bioscience International, which I have been involved with in varying degrees since its founding in 1994. With over 6,000 customers — including nearly every major pharmaceutical firm in the world, most major food companies, & several government agencies — Bioscience helps its customers ensure that the world's food & drug supply chain is free of dangerous bacteria & mold contamination.
