ITIL Service Management (Vodacom subsidiary of Vodafone)Responsible for establishing the Service Management function within the Operational Support Division. My duties included setting up the various ITIL based processes relating to Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management as well as Release Management. Other functions included Governance and Process Improvement and Security compliance. Managed a team of Incident, Change, Problem and Release Managers to ensure adoption and compliance by the divisions. This was to ensure that projects going into the production environment aligned to industry standards and that any fallout is tracked, resolved and reported on.The Release Management function acted as governance gate for project phases to minimise any risks to the production environment by ensuring all testing, documentation and user acceptance were completed successfully.I also produced weekly and monthly reports relating to the Projects, Incidence, Change and Problem Management status. These reports then formed the driving force of our process improvement program.
