My role within the National Valuation team at CBRE has provided me with a range of experience. This has included loan security valuations for UK lenders such as HSBC, Santander, Lloyds Banking Group, Natwest and Barclays. Supplemental to the Loan Security work I have been heavily involved in acquisition, disposal and accounting valuations for a mix of property companies, private investors and owner occupiers. My role has also provided me with the opportunity to undertake a range of strategic and investment consulting work, property strategy reports, distressed asset valuations, depreciated replacement cost valuations and asset reviews, all of which have become increasingly important in recent years. I have also been previously involved with undertaking monthly/quarterly/annual portfolio valuations for UK institutions including AXA, Standard Life, Aviva, Prudential and Threadneedle with the responsibility within CBRE to value these institutional assets within Merseyside, Chester and North Wales. I have principally had involvement and exposure to the following key sectors within the North West, North Wales and Isle of Man markets - office, industrial, high street and secondary retail, retail warehousing, student residential, traditional residential, commercial development sites, educational properties/assets and specialist assets such as operational ports. The role comprised a years work placement whilst at Liverpool John Moores University.
