Research Development Supervisor
● Played a key role in the development of a design of knee joint and hip joint implant prostheses; pivotal in ensuring femoral stem, femoral head and tibia platform obtained patents● Continuous evaluation and design of process, tooling, inspection methods and inspection tooling of all the company's products. Developed a product trial production plan, track product trial production and made improvements, reduced production costs and improved production efficiency● Regularly analysed workload and team productivity to plan resources to ensure efficient departmental delivery● Serve as first point of contact for any issues identified throughout the coloration of other departments in the trial production process● Created drawings of product designs● Promoted compliance by preparing and review of process flow, processing procedures, SOP, SIP and trial production reports● Liaised with suppliers of necessary materials, equipment, tools and coatings, produced related technical agreements● Managed numerous projects from inception to completion, identified and analysed core requirements and key features of projects. Projects included: o Managed Hip joint prosthesis research and development: Through improved tooling design and processing methods, the production efficiency of ceramic femoral heads has been increased by 500%, the surface roughness is less than 8 nanometers, the sphericity is less than 3 microns, and the compressive strength and impact toughness have reached the industry's top levelo Knee joint prosthesis research and development: Through a large number of tool path cutting tests, the minimum raw material consumption and the best production efficiency have been obtained, and the production cost has been reduced by 40%. Through the tool test, the surface roughness of the tibial platform after five-axis processing is less than 0.5 microns, which greatly improves the product quality
