Recently completed a Level 5 Diploma in Web Application Development. I am studied through the Code Institute in conjunction with the College of West Anglia. This will has given me an excellent understanding of front and backend software development utilising the following languages, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Python and SQL. Plus libraries such as jQuery and Bootstrap and frameworks incl. Flask and Django.An alumnus of the Open University, I gained a BSc (Open) science degree through the OU on the 31st July 2016 with my graduation ceremony on the 7th October 2016. Having had to effectively manage a full time job, 20+hrs of study a week and a marriage means I am highly organised and time efficient. My studies have given me a good understanding of a broad range of scientific subjects including the natural sciences. I have a particular interest in astronomy and have taken modules that reflect this including planetary science, cosmology, astrobiology, relativity and extreme environment astrophysics. A particular aptitude for mathematics and physics and a love of tech underpins my skill sets. I am comfortable taking a leading role in anything that I do and enjoy working with like-minded others. I was the lead analyst for the paper that was submitted as part of my astrophysics module (S382). I also enjoy the creativity that writing offers and at the same time wrote an article for an online astrophotography magazine (Amateur Astrophotography) titled 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star'.
