Transferred from VMware Tanzu LabsWorking on VMware Tanzu Mission Control as part of the Lifecycle Management Team for AWS/EKS and Azure AKSResponsibilities, included but not limited to:- Implementing customer requested features to enhance the Lifecycle Management of AWS EKS and Azure AKS clusters- Supporting and participating in on call to work to resolve customer issues in a timely manner- Supporting other teams outside of Lifecycle Management to implement functionality required to support new features being built by LCM, including adding functionality to terraform and CLI plugins- Experimentation with function apps in Azure in an attempt to speed up credential and cluster onboarding times- Enhancing tests to provide better confidence in the Lifecycle Management components- Other software development tasks as needed to support the Lifecycle Management team and the overall TMC team and product

Responsibilities, included but not limited to:- Working with a team including client engineers to enable them in XP software development practices and/or application modernization practices- Pair programming with clients and other Pivotal Labs engineers to build/modernize software based on the team’s backlog- Helping to manage risk and uncertainty while moving the team forward- Assisting and helping in the teaching and training of client engineers how to do the above for themselves- Assisting in enabling client leadership to grow their own engineering practice- Working in a full stack development environment using various different languages and technologies based on the needs of the client and problem space- Languages have included: Java, Kotlin, React, Javascript, Typescript, SQL, Swift (iOS Apps), Java/Kotlin for Android Apps, Spring Boot- Utilized Concourse, Jenkins for CI/CD and various cloud platforms for deployment
