Project Manager of Fibre City Cardiff and Swansea

At the present time i work in a small unique team in the Regimantal Training Wing, delivering lessons to work colleagues on different subjects that i have been trained in over the years. I am also the Commaning Officers Radio Operator, which means i have quite a vast experience with different types of radios and dealing with different situations as they present themselves.

During my time at the Phase 2 Training Regiment i was employed as middle management dealing with less experienced work colleagues. This was a challengeing time during my career as there are tight dead lines to stick to and having to Instruct over 600 colleagues a year. This period in my career made me become more resilient, flexible and logical in my approach to teaching and working, which i will continue to bring out in myself as i move on in my chosen career path.

During my time in the Army i have done a plethora of different jobs, from shop floor work to middle management. I have taken this all in my stride and feel that i have become a more well rounded person for it, with a vast ammount of experience in not just Army life but with life experiences. The time has now come that i move off and start a new and challenging career in the Telecommunications field, specialising in fibre optics.

My time at the Joint CBRN Regiment was a very exciting, eventfull and practical experience in my career. Myself and other work colleagues were taught vast ammounts of different subject matter infomation, how to use technical equipment and be confident in the use of it in a short period of time. It was not always work and no play, we traveled to Canada twice while i was there to work with multi-national Armys and learn from each other and gain an insight into how they work, this would mean that if we every need to work with them we could adapt to there way of thinking.
