Founded in 2010, we've now printed millions of newspapers for individuals, community groups and brands all over the world.I started as CEO in early 2010 helping to start up the business. I moved to Executive Chair in 2011 with a new MD taking on day-to-day management. During this period the business moved from start-up to profitability and is now paying dividends.In early 2015, I supported the sale of the majority of the founders' shares to a trade buyer who I had earlier introduced as an investor. I remain involved as a director and shareholder with a focus on finance, marketing and strategy.

The Young Foundation supports people and organisations to take action together to create fairer communities where everyone can thrive.I focused on strategy and finance and chaired the investment committee of the Young Academy, an accelerator for educational social ventures. I also supported Reimagining Rent, an accelerator for social enterprises in the private rented sector.I was also a trustee of the linked Institute of Community Studies.

Live Better With helped make day-to-day life a little bit better for the 230m+ people living with a long-term illness. To support this we aimed to become the destination for people living with long-term conditions to discover everyday practical support for their symptoms and side effects.As non-executive chair I provided input to the company's strategy, and oversight and advice as required.I stood down after the business pivoted to focus on B2E via an employee benefits offer, which is not my area of expertise.

I contributed new entries and definitions as a freelance lexicographer, updating editions of the Oxford Dictionary of Finance and Banking and the Oxford Dictionary of Business and Management.

We were a collaboration of leading charities, industry experts and experienced disruptors who designed new approaches to help charities fund their life changing work. I worked with parent company Good Innovation in 2012-13 and had an advisory role at The Good Lab focused on cross-sectoral innovation and strategy. During my time there we started up and spun out a number of social enterprises.

Sofa.com was a trail-blazing innovator in online retail.I worked with the founders from early 2010 and as COO from early 2011, in which role I looked after commercial and operational areas. I then took over the marketing function and stepped up as CEO, driving continued strong growth in the business. Under my management sales increased 3x and profitability 5x.I led the sale of a majority shareholding in the business, which culminated in an acquisition by CBPE, a private equity firm, in early 2015. I decided to leave the business following the transition to new ownership.

Newhaven Group was a combination of two complementary retail brands, New Heights and Sofa Workshop. I was instrumental in the creation and shaping of this £40m turnover retail business before restructuring it during the downturn that followed the financial crisis. I stepped down due to ill health.

New Heights was an innovative and award-winning furniture retailer that I founded and ran as CEO. At one point we were the fastest-growing profitable high street retailer in the UK, acclaimed for market-leading products and service.

ING Barings was a leading European investment bank with a strong emerging markets franchise. I worked in Corporate Finance and Equity Capital Markets, leading deal execution teams and supporting marketing efforts as Manager before promotion to Assistant Director.

GNI was a financial group born out of the Gerrard and National discount house. I worked for an in-house hedge fund manager.

Morgan Stanley is one of the top global investment banks. I provided analytical and execution support for marketing and transactions.

Cadbury Schweppes was a blue-chip business with a great heritage, reputation and brands. I completed the Cadbury two-year graduate management training programme working in the areas of manufacturing, marketing and finance.
