Its exciting times to be arranging school visits to industries for the Week of Engineering -13-17 August.

Promoting technology, engineering and science careers in local schools, which include:• Contacting local employers, asking for young engineering, science and technology graduates (called Ambassadors) to promote their careers in schools.• Training and coaching the Ambassadors to support maths/science/technology curriculum and promote their careers in schools.• Promoting the use of Ambassadors to support their programmes, to teachers and careers advisers in primary, intermediate and secondary schools in south, east, west and central Auckland regions. • Organising Ambassadors to go into schools in response to requests.• Organising industry visits for teachers and students.
