•Developed an Automation process with event driven architecture that automates the transaction creation process like Lodgments, Liquidation, Return and Maker/Checker Processes. This reduces the manual effort by 100%. •Worked on Migration of Data from the Hongkong Database Server to India Database server. •Took ownership in the WebSphere upgrade of 5+ modules.•Implemented the Initial Public offering (IPO) using webservice call. The IPO system was enhanced to process the high volume of records and this was achieved using the Java Messaging system (JMS) of Web logic server 12C.•Build a feature to validate the Prepaid Card Numbers which was received from the Public Financial management system (PFMS) in the Prepaid Card Management Solution system (PCMS) by using the REST API.•Build a feature in the Cash Entry process, to send a request to the saksham system and to get the transaction denomination details in response by using the API.•Integrated log4j Logging method to ensure the system uses minimal resource for the logging operation thereby improves the application performance.
