Gayle is the President of ConranPR, a bespoke agency for hospitality, travel PR/marketing/social media in New York City. An HSMAI "Top 25: Extraordinary Mind in Hospitality Sales, Marketing", Gayle and has achieved award-winning results for the agency’s outstanding client work including HSMAI Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards for many consecutive years and several of the Society of American Travel Writers' (SATW) prestigious Cushman Public Relations Gold Award. Gayle's leadership at ConranPR has helped clients routinely win top awards and recognition from major travel and lifestyle magazines, including Travel + Leisure, Condé Nast Traveler and The New York Times.In Fall of 2017 her feature case study, Making a Masterpiece: How to Create Tourism & Arts Media Campaigns, was published by PRNews in the Top Case Studies in Communications Guidebook.Gayle graduated from Brown University with a BA in English and proficiency in French. She has completed post graduate coursework at Columbia University in Social Media and Digital Journalism and in 2017 earned a Professional Certificate from Fordham University in Social and Digital Marketing. Before opening ConranPR i, she was a Managing Director in the Travel Division of Hill+Knowlton Strategies in NYC. During her tenure she directed strategic programs for some of the industry's top destination, hospitality, and aviation accounts, including the Palm Beach County Convention and Visitors Bureau. In 1998, Gayle was a member of the crisis communication team that handled Swissair flight #111 disaster. Gayle began her professional life as a ballet dancer. She was a contracted company member of Boston Ballet from 1981 to 1989, during which time she toured the U.S., Mexico and Europe with Rudolf Nureyev in a number of his classical dance productions. She continues to be an active supporter of the arts and art education and leaps at the chance to create strategic tourism + arts campaigns for her clients.
